Hi, I’m Mark Wilson and I’m a golfaholic.

I’ve loved golf for as long as I can remember but only started playing a few years ago when injury ended my football (soccer) playing days.

With a typical lack of time available to devote to the game (more like practice!) my game swings from “I’ve cracked it” to “that’s it - I’m giving up”. But then that one sweet shot right out of the middle and I’m right back in there!

Fed up with the grey and wet British winters; waterlogged courses, temporary tees & greens, loooking for balls in the mist (I’m sure you’ve been there too) I looked for a property in Spain as a base for me to play in better weather.

I wanted a location less than 1 hour from the airport,  a golf course on site that I could walk to plus plenty of other quality courses to choose from within 1/2 hour drive of the base. I wanted lower cost green fees than the more popular and crowded Costas and certainly wasn’t keen on 5 hour plus rounds.

My search was also for a property that could be let out when I wasn’t using it and in a location that would be a great holiday spot for non-golfers. Although “investment” was the driving factor I was looking for an area where hopefully prices would rise…
